Last year Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare had a record breaking night for a stand alone haunted house event. It was definitely highlight of the Halloween season and had everyone talking about. Well, now they have announced the return of Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare and this time it will make it’s debut at Westworld of Scottsdale in Phoenix, Arizona. The ultimate Halloween horror event is set for September 19th through November 1st.

For the opening night of September 19th, it will feature a one night only concert with groundbreaking musician and filmmaker Rob Zombie himself. “The first year was such a blast. I am thrilled to be able to take the Great American Nightmare to a new city this year,” says Zombie. “My only goal is to make it even sicker than last year.”

Great American Nightmare is a fully immersive haunted house experience featuring three attractions based on Rob Zombie‘s own horror films: The Lords Of Salem In Total Black Out, Captain Spaulding’s Clown School In 3D, and The Devil’s Rejects.

At Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare, patrons will sequentially enter three different attractions:

  • The Lords Of Salem In Total Black Out: This harrowing attraction—based onZombie‘s 2012 The Lords Of Salem independent horror film—is designed to twist the mind. It will accentuate some senses while limiting others. Fear of the darkness, claustrophobia, and fear of the unknown will be preyed on as visitors attempt to traverse this sixty-degree maze.
  • Captain Spaulding’s Clown School In 3D: This irreverent school of pure terror is a hallucinogenic trip through the mind of Captain Spaulding (House Of 1000 Corpses,The Devil’s Rejects). Startle after startle will thoroughly frighten the bravest patrons, who won’t know if they should be laughing, screaming or crying.
  • The Devil’s Rejects: The murderous, backwoods Firefly family takes to the road to escape a vengeful police force that isn’t afraid of being as ruthless as its target. Guests will become part of the state troopers’ search and destroy mission against the Firefly family, who are wanted for over 75 homicides and disappearances.

In addition, the Great American Nightmare’s Bloody Boulevard will feature freak shows, musical entertainment, roaming characters, themed food and beverages, games and vendors each night.

Tickets for Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare go on sale Friday The 13th of June at 10:00 AM PT atwww.GreatAmericanNightmare.com, with prices starting at only $25 for September 20-November 1. Each ticket includes access to all haunted house attractions and the Bloody Boulevard activities.

“We’re excited to be bringing Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare to WestWorld of Scottsdale,” says Great American Nightmare producer Steve Kopelman. He continues, “While we really appreciate the tremendous support we received in Southern California, we felt it was our responsibility to bring the terror to as many different people and markets as possible. Great American Nightmare 2014 will build upon the foundation established last year and promises to be bigger and bloodier.”

WestWorld Of Scottsdale is located at 16601 North Pima Road in Scottsdale, AZ, in the Phoenix metro region. Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare is presented by 98 KUPD in Phoenix.

So make sure to mark your calendars and get ready for a harrowing Halloween event you won’t want to miss!
