This past Saturday night we held our Valley Fire Benefit Concert at the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma. It was hard to believe that the event was planned, organized and put on within two weeks of the Valley Fire devastation.  The community came together with an amazing group of musicians and the benefit was a success. even though we came across some setbacks such as our sound guy being laid up in the hospital, we had six great bands that put on stellar performances and rocked the venue.

We were so honored to have Chasta Freeman Michaelis of 107.7 The Bone emcee our event. She got the crowd not only pumped up, but encouraged them to empty their pockets for this great cause.  At last report, we have successfully raised $2,100 which will be going directly to the Valley Fire Victims through the Moose Lodge in Clearlake and Middletown Animal Hospital. We will continue to keep the donation link up so people can continue to donate in the new few weeks.

The night started off with a high energy set by Days Under Authority who drove up from Fresno. They hit the stage bursting with adrenaline and the crowd loved them.

Next up was local Santa Rosa band, Sweet Addiction. They were pulling double duty as they had to leave directly after their set to perform at another show. They came and rocked the stage!

Faith and Bullets returned to The Phoenix and put on a spectacular spot on performance. These guys really do prove that rock and roll is alive. Their passion and drive shines through their music. This band has grown immensely over the past year and every time they play, they are gaining a whole new group of fans.

I was so excited to see Luvplanet perform and they exceeded all my expectations. Nicole’s vocals are powerful and sounded incredible in the Phoenix. Mark was a madman on his guitar. Tommy is so charismatic while he is crushing it on the bass and Michael brings it all together with his precision drumming.

Every time I catch State Line Empire perform, they amaze me. These guys delivered an epic set of bad ass rock that had the crowd fueled and begging for more.

Closing out the show was the fierce set by Bad Boy Eddy. Drummer Larry Bernal was not able to perform due to a family emergency. We send all our best wishes and support to Larry for his mother.  Drummer Anthony Rizzo filled in for the night and he had learned the songs just that day! They sounded incredible and hats off to him for an excellent performance. They ROCKED the stage and even all the kids were right in front head banging and rocking out with them. Bad Boy Eddy has one of the best stage presences’ and you can’t help but get in the game and rock out with them. There is no standing still when Bad Boy Eddy performs.

We thank these amazing musicians for donating their time and performances to the Valley Fire Benefit Concert. They made the night a complete success. Please make sure to check out each of the bands and stay up to date on their social media sites so you can catch them at their next live shows!
