What is the oddest gift you have ever received?
My next door neighbor growing up, she made me a ‘New Kids on the Block’ t-shirt. And she was dead-serious about it. I’m talking, she cut out and glued pictures from magazines, puffy paint, sparkles — the whole deal. To this day, I still don’t know what her motivation was…maybe she was sick in the head or just plain sick of my Nirvana and Alice in Chains shirts?? Needless to say, I got some GREAT use out of that gift, hahahaha!!

Pumpkin Pie and Mom’s candied yams all the way. BOOM!
What is your favorite Holiday family tradition that you still do today?
My brothers and I spend the whole holiday season trying to determine which one of us “ruined Christmas”. Someone gets the blame each year, so it’s not only Santa Claus watching our mischievous shenanigans. I refuse to take the blame this year!
Do you have a favorite holiday movie or song?
My favorite holiday movie is either ‘Gremlins’ or ‘Bad Santa’. My favorite holiday song is ‘Please Come Home for Christmas’ — Don Henley has a voice smoother than silk!
Do you have a specific memory of a certain ornament or holiday decoration?
When I was very young, my brother rigged up some homemade ‘Freddy Krueger’ ornaments. Initially, he hung them above my bed while I was sleeping. Thanks for that. Needless to say, they made their way to the tree, and into my dreams forever….
