Aftershock 2023, a true success, delivers non stop rock and metal

West Coast’s Biggest Rock Festival Aftershock presented by Danny Wimmer Presents was a true success, bringing non stop rock and metal for four days. The massive lineup included  Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold, KornGodsmack, Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age, Limp Bizkit, Rancid, Turnstile, 311, Megadeth, The Cult, AFI, I Prevail, Avatar, and so many more bands. The four stages had something for everyone and remained packed each day.

The crowds arrived early so they wouldn’t miss even the starting bands. The lines moved smoothly and the park was full of lush grass for the fans to spread out on. Whether you were there for the headliner or two, the lineup made sure you left with many new favorite bands. Some of our favorite bands were some that we had never seen live before.  Amber Wild put on a spectacular rockin set, Wargasm brought a punk rock Plasmatics vibe to the stage and we loved every minute of it!  Asava performed one of the best rock covers of Kate Bush’s Running Up the Hill and I have been reliving that moment ever since. Ten56 was absolutely killer with a mosh pit that rivaled the larger stages!

The crowds were a great mix of culture, age, genres, etc – all melting together for the love of music. You can see the camaraderie whether in the mosh pit – picking up someone who fell, or in the crowd passing around the water for fellow fans, or just people completely different sitting together and talking music; friendships being made.

The sold out festival has announced that you can make sure you are there for Aftershock 2024 by picking up your passes early!  Head over to their website Aftershock  and pick yours up!
