Eagerly awaited by the fans, delivered just in time by the ARP-band: On April 15th, 2022 the new album “Lost XXIII” by Bochum guitarist, songwriter, and bandleader Axel Rudi Pell will be released. It contains 10 brand-new songs (plus intro). There will be digipacks, CD’s, vinyl-double-LP’s, limited boxsets, and digital streams/downloads available. “Lost XIII” is Pell’s 21. studio work and will be released – like all previous records of his 33-year-solo career – via Steamhammer/SPV.
On February 18th 2022 the first single “Survive” will see the light of day, a deep melodic hard rock piece with a characteristic Pell-guitar-riff and as usual great melodic lines:
“I’m sure, that my fans get exactly the song they have been waiting for. ‘Survive’ is typical for the ARP-band and is carried by the great voice of our singer Johnny Gioeli.”
By the way: the ARP band continues to consists of Johnny Gioeli (vocals), Volker Krawczak (bass), Ferdy Doernberg (keyboard), and drummer Bobby Rondinelli (ex-Rainbow).
The second single “Down On The Streets” will be out March 25th, 2022. “Thin Lizzy could have had a hand in things here”, Pell explains winking and adds: “Lyrically it is about the hard life on the streets”.
“Lost XXIII” was produced by Axel Rudi Pell, mixed by Tommy Geiger and mastered by Ulf Horbelt. The mystic cover artwork was created by Thomas Ewerhard (a.o. Gotthard, Edguy, Sons Of Apollo).
In spring and fall 2022 the ARP-band will head out on tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
