2nd-to-last day of the Free & Easy festival at the Backstage Munich and another big Hardcore act was taking over the Werk.
Believe me, it was a sauna in there, but one with a special extra. Stick To Your Guns made a stop in Munich on their recent European run and as soon as they entered the stage (a little bit later than planned), there was absolute mayhem. I’ve never seen so many crowd-surfers during a show, while the room itself was cookin’. There were still around 26 degrees Celsius (about 78 Fahrenheit) outside, but it felt about twice as hot inside. Although the venue used air conditioning, it really didn’t feel that way.
STYG didn’t play alone though, there was also Drover from Munich, Bethons from Italy and Protest The Hero from Canada, who did some warming up that night.
