One of our highlights from this year’s NAMM 2015 was unexpectedly running into French rockers, BlackRain. They are one of our favorite rock bands and to see them here in the US was exciting, even more so to learn about the new album and returning to the US for possible tour. The first time I heard BlackRain is when my son Rockin Ryan played Overloaded for me and I was instantly transformed back to my nights spent on the Sunset Strip in the ’80s. At first I thought I was listening to an old Motley Crue track!! Swan on vocals just blows you away with his powerful voice and he has perfected the high vocal ranges of the ’80s. They have some shredding guitar with off the hook riffs. This band brings back the passion of straight up rock and roll and added a dose of high energy for good measure!
