As Days Fade, the metal band from New York, NY are ready to unleash their explosive new lyric video to you for their song, I Don’t Want You. The song is off their forthcoming EP Resurrection set for a June 3rd release. The band explains about the song,
“The main message behind “I Don’t Want You” is knowing you’re in a bad relationship and having the strength and courage to step out of your comfort zone and say “you aren’t the one for me, you are hurting me and I need you out of my life right now.” Musically, we incorporated both groove oriented / up-beat rhythms to symbolize the euphoric feel of a relationship as well as aggressive breakdown rhythms to emphasize the distraught emotion towards one another.”

June 3rd 2016 marks the official release of the band’s long awaited EP, titled Resurrection. This project is the manifestation of the discipline, desire and dedication they have put into their music with efforts to show that when life fights you, you just have to fight back harder. As they explained to News 12 Long Island during an informal interview, “Musically and lyrically we tend to focus on the darker aspects of life such as loss, heartbreak, and addiction. Everyone can relate to that in some way, and unfortunately we will have to cross those bridges at some point in life. ‘Resurrection’ is not about why or how you ended up on the ground, but how you pick yourself back up and keep moving.”
