For most people, the last two years have probably been marked by the very thing that gave Heat’s album its name – an “act of God”. But Heat definitely don’t let that stop them, quite the opposite. The band is back, with original singer Kenny Leckremo at the helm, and taking everyone on a fast-paced, high-energy ride through Heat City!
Today, the band is back with a new single, whose title ” Nationwide ” could hardly be a better answer to the current world situation. Not only is it the starting signal for the band’s Scandinavian tour, but it also increases the anticipation of the 2022 festival season that many have been waiting for so much. “Nationwide” is the epitome of what has made the band so successful in the past – uniting young and old rock fans alike.
But not only sonically, also visually the band takes it up a notch. Both for the music video and the whole artwork a living, fictional world that provides an exciting setting for the band’s energetic album was created.
Starting April 9th, the band will embark on a major Scandinavian tour followed by an EU tour, which will also take the first single on stage. Since the band’s early days, beginning with their song “1000 miles” – a smash hit in their Scandinavian homeland in 2009, the media around the world have hailed each and every album by the band as one of the best rock albums of the respective years.
