Singer Songwriter Joel Poe has a voice that will definitely brighten the saddest of hearts and give much needed hope to a young generation. Joel has recently signed to Standby Records to release his new debut album, Drowkid on January 13th through Standby Storytellers, an imprint from Standby Records. Joel’s soaring vocals capture so much emotion and truly brings peace to the listener. With his new album, Joel hopes to comfort, heal, inspire a generation which he feels is too young to be sad. He has such a great voice and when you take a listen, you can’t help but know that he definitely holds the power to be the inspiration and bright light to many.
Joel comments on his new album, “This is my first ever album and it’s kind of a big deal to me- so I’m both, super excited and nervous at the same time. The music in it is really personal; songs about my self-harm story as well as songs about love and friendship. But overall it’s an album full of positive music. I know how hard it is being a teenager and our generation is a really sad one. My only goal is to touch some hearts and connect with my generation throughout my music. To spread a message of hope and love. I’m looking forward to my new adventure as one of Standby Record’s Storytellers and I’m really happy to be pioneering in this new project with art and music as a premise.”

I love Joel,His voice is AMAZING,It’s good that he knows how to play piano,He is a really talented guy and I think it’s great that he made a song on self harm because I listen to that when I feel like I want to cut or hurt myself but after I listen to it I don’t feel like it,You inspire a lot of people!!!!
