The Nearly Deads are gearing up to head out on their co-headlining tour with Valora. The Electric Angels Tour will start on October 28th in Sioux City, Iowa and will wrap up on November 20th in Harrison, OH. Check out the news below:
Nashville, TN: Hot on the heels of premiering the official music video for “My Evil Ways,” (an exclusive to PledgeMusic contributors), rock outfit The Nearly Deads have announced a co-headlining tour up with LA rockers Valora.
Running October 28 – November 20, The Electric Angels Tour will see The Nearly Deads deliver their post-grunge grooves to “Zombie Nation” strongholds such as Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio while hitting South Dakota for the first time. During shows, fans will have the opportunity to be the first to hear new songs from the band’s forthcoming EP, which is being funded via PledgeMusic.
The fundraising campaign, which goes until January 15, provides fans with one-of-a-kind merchandise and experiences, including exclusive opportunities to interact with the band. Starting at $10 for a download of the new EP and an “Access Pass” to all Pledge-only updates, offers include signed merchandise (CDs, vinyl, posters, drum sticks), a “Zombie” bundle, Skype hangouts, “Band” hangouts, personal “birthday” wishes, acknowledgement in the credits, song collaborations, an elaborate “Nearly Deads Scrapbook” (only two are being produced) and custom lyric art by singer Theresa Jeane. One lucky fan can even pledge to “Name the EP.”
In conjunction with each pledge, fans receive an instant download of a blistering new song entitled, “My Evil Ways,” and have the exclusive opportunity to watch its official music video at http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/thenearlydeads
“My Evil Ways,” which finds the band showcasing a more aggressive riff-heavy sound that echoes their break through hit “Never Look Back,” is the first new music made available to fans since the quintet issued an emotionally charged rendition of Ellie Goulding’s “Holding On For Life” earlier this year. The forthcoming 6-song EP, co-produced with Jon King, will be the band’s third overall (Self-Titled, Survival Guide) and the follow-up to their critically-acclaimed debut album, Invisible Tonight, which idobi Radio lauded for its infectious “pop hooks with a rock edge” while HeadRush TV applauded the ferocity of its “hard-hitting rock and roll.”
