Last night opening up for Devon Gilfillian on his headlining tour, Hannah Wicklund performed a solo set in San Francisco. Capturing the illustrious singer/songwriter/guitarist Hannah in the intimate setting of the Cafe DuNord was the crowning achievement for a midweek show in the city. She delivered a flawless set that highlighted her passion and dedication in creating musical compositions with lyrics that bring vulnerability as well as empowerment to life. Bravo to this young lady who is a true powerhouse in the music scene today.
The set started off with the blistering track On Fire, where you can really hear her guitarwork shine on a Gibson semi-hollow. The tone was impeccable. Hannah performing solo, really allowed us to appreciate every aspect of her performance and be in awe of her stellar guitar playing. She treated the crowd to a couple of her new songs which will be out on her upcoming album, The Prize. You can pre-order the album HERE. Her performance of Songbird Sing was magical and had us in anticipation of the new album.
