Interview with The Relapse Symphony as they stop in San Francisco for the Shapeshiftour!

The Relapse Symphony

We are at a little over than a week ago for the new release of Shadows by The Relapse Symphony and we can’t wait for you to all hear it. Check out our full album review here. We can’t tell you enough how awesome this new album is and I don’t think a day has gone by since first receiving it for review that we haven’t played a song or two, or three or all. It really is that good! What was even more exciting was to see The Relapse Symphony  perform live last week. They are out on tour with the Dead Rabbitts for the “Shapeshiftour” and they made a stop in San Francisco at the DNA Lounge. The lineup included a killer headlining set by Dead Rabbitts, double dose of vocals by Myka Relocate and some heavy metalcore by Nightmares.

The set was everything we expected as The Relapse Symphony put on a full fledged rock set. Their stage presence captivated the crowd and Bret is definitely in the spotlight where he belongs. His charismatic energy grabs a hold of you as he brings a blend of punk rock attitude meshed with vintage rocker. One thing is for sure, some talk about Rock and Roll needing a facelift and The Relapse Symphony is here to give it a full reconstructive surgery!

You can check out our full review of the night as well as photos from our Rockin Ryan in our earlier post here. We had the chance to catch up with the guys prior to their set and are pleased to bring that interview to you here:

The band members are not only great musicians but a great fun group of guys. I hope you get a chance to check them out live on the Shapeshiftour, Masks Tour and future tours. They definitely put on one of those “DO NOT MISS” shows! I hope you all have your pre-orders already in for Shadows and if not, head over to iTunes here.

I can’t stress enough the importance of checking out your bands perform live. You get to see your favorite songs being performed, pick up some cool merch, make new friends, connect with the musicians and keep the music scene alive. So grab your friends, kids, parents and enjoy a concert!
