Kat Perkins is gearing up for the release of her first full length album, Drive on July 10th. You may already be familiar with Kat as she was the lovable rocker who made it to the top 5 in season 6 of The Voice. Her new album, aptly title Drive really highlights her determination and drive for her music. She has such passion that you truly shines with her vocals. Her powerful vocals captures true honesty in her music and create a blanket of assurance and inspiration.
Her first single Fearless hit #5 on the iTunes chart when it was released. Her highly anticipated album is set to release this Friday and we will work on bringing you a review as well as an interview with Kat. “It’s about freedom,” Kat said, “Escape…” she smiles then reconsiders the word. “For me, there is just this feeling that fills you when you’re behind the wheel. You can just go – ya’ know what I mean – you can really go anywhere.”
Kat also travels across the country sharing with kids from elementary to high-school her unique message of remaining determined, courageous and following their dreams. Check out her video for Fearless:
