New Years Day deliver a powerful intense set at their shows, a must see!

We had the opportunity to catch New Years Day last week at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento, CA. It was a night filled with a variety of bands from TrackFighter, Eve to Adam, Escape the Fate and New Years Day. It was great first off to see that whomever you were there to see that night, everyone enjoyed everyone’s set!  Here are Rockin Ryan’s photos of the night:

I had been talking to a couple people who had never seen New Years Day before and they said that after, they were definitely life long fans. That is what happens when you see them live, you can’t help but harness their energy and enjoy the show and join the New Years Day family! Jake Jones on the guitar is like a modern day Doyle as he stomps around feeding the masses with his energy. Nikki Misery reminds me of the charismatic Marilyn Manson and is a madman on his guitar. Nick Rossi on the drums displays impeccable precision drumming as he always stays on the beat and makes sure the crowd is off their feet. Anthony Barro on Bass unleashes his energy with the backing vocals, all while yielding his crunchy basslines. Then you have, front and center Ash Costello who is an amazing vocalist that has an infectious stage presence. All together New Years Day create the perfect intense set that is a MUST SEE!

One of the set highlights was their performance of Death of The Party and you can check out this tribute video that Rockin Ryan made which includes photos and footage of their Sacramento set:

We have been excited to see New Years Day now playing on Octane and all the airwaves.. Their awesome song, Angel Eyes (featuring Chris Motionless) off of their new album Victim to Villain was just playing on Octane and I love it! Here is another tribute video to Angel Eyes:

I can’t wait for more of their singles to be played. Their album is ALL KILLER, with no filler! You will love it, if you don’t already have it. New Years Day is just finishing up their tour with Eve to Adam and Escape the Fate and then they will be heading back out on tour with Combichrist and William Control. The dates for “The We Love Tour”  is set to to start off on April 3rd in Charlotte, NC and you can check the other dates below:

We are excited to see the stop in San Francisco and we hope to bring you an interview with New Years Day. For now, make sure you have the New Years Day album, Victim to Villain. You can pick it up  here on Itunes.  Also, make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date on the latest news from them.
