Renowned Guitarist Marty Friedman releases new track “Meat Hook” featuring Jørgen Munkeby

We recently shared with you the music video by renowned guitarist Marty Friedman for the title track, Inferno which is off his highly anticipated forthcoming album. The album is set to release in North America on May 27th.  Now he is back to unveil another new track off Inferno. This time it is the song, Meat Hook which features “blackjazz” rebel Jørgen Munkeby (Shining) on vocals and saxophone. Check out the song here:

 

The album  “Inferno” was recorded mostly in Los Angeles with engineer Chris Rakestraw (Danzig, Children of Bodom) and mixed by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Amon Amarth). Featuring notable guest appearances and collaborations with acts including Rodrigo y Gabriela, Jason Becker, Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom), Dave Davidson (Revocation) and Danko Jones, the album features what FRIEDMAN describes as the heaviest and most intense playing and writing of his career. The iTunes digital pre-order includes instant downloads of both the title track and new song “Steroidhead,” while physical pre-order packages (including a smoke-colored gatefold LP) are currently on sale here: http://prostheticrecords.com/inferno/
