Florida-based band Sleeping With Sirens released their sixth studio-record ‘How It Feels To Be Lost’ last Friday via Sumerian Records. That same day, the band introduced a brand-new video for the title track:
Two songs of the record have already been released over the last weeks, the first single ‘Leave It All Behind’ has over 2.3 million views already.
A little over a week ago, the bands’ drummer Gabe Barham, who has been with SWS from early on, parted ways with them. The bands’ statement
‘Gabe will no longer be part of Sleeping With Sirens. We all love him and we’ve created amazing music together, but in the last year or so we’ve been growing in different places musically. There are absolutely no hard feelings and we wish Gabe success in all of his future endeavors.’
as well as Gabe Barham’s statement
‘As you may have heard, myself and Sleeping With Sirens are parting ways. It’s been a fun ten years and I’m proud of every moment. To all my fans, family and friends thank you for the support and I’ll be seeing you soon in my next venture!’
give no information as to why they parted ways. However, Barham has performed and recorded all drum tracks for ‘How It Feels To Be Lost’, except for the song ‘Blood Lines’.
So far there’s no further information on who will be filling in for him.
Sleeping With Sirens will be out on tour this fall in the US with Bring Me The Horizon and Poppy. Make sure to catch that awesome line-up live in a town near you.
