Slinger Francisco from Raleigh, North Carolina premiere and release their new song, Bad News today. When asked about the story behind the song, Doug Chambers explains, “A few years had passed where I was sitting on earlier versions to Bad News. I never thought it would end up airing out cancer so close to my home and heart. In a time where it’s not uncommon for terminal illness to rock the boats of families, yet a ‘it’ll never happen to me’ mentality prevails, we can only restlessly wait and hope for healing.” It is such a heartfelt emotional song yet has a great tempo and uplifting spirit to it. The vocals are passionate and the music is vibrant and colorful. Check out the song here:
