The Head and the Heart held their first ever Down in the Valley Festival this past weekend in Napa Valley at the Oxbow River Stage. The two date festival went off without a hitch and brought set after set of amazing feel good music to Napa. Day one kicked off an acoustic set by The Head and the Heart which included a touching rendition of Margaritaville which they performed to pay tribute to the legend Jimmy Buffett who passed away on September 1st. You can watch a bit of that here.
The sets were as follows:
Saturday, September 2
- The Head And The Heart
- Waxahatchee
- Faye Webster
- Rayland Baxter
- Miya Folick
Sunday, September 3
- The Head And The Heart
- Dawes
- Madison Cunningham
- Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners
- Shaina Shepherd
The feel good music was nonstop and was exactly what we all needed. Each night The Head and the Heart would finish it off with a powerful set that was spectacular. Down in the Valley was a success and we look forward to the next one. Check out the photos from our Rockin Ryan of the artists performing during the festival:
