Blood Command introduce new single “The End Is Her”

Self-proclaimed Death-Pop-band Blood Command released a new song today. “The End Is Her” is the second single with their new singer Nikki Brumen (ex-Pagan) on Hassle Records. You can stream the song here.

Blood Command mastermind Yngve Andersen comments:

“”The End Is Her” is for the losers, the outcasts and for the people, that never really belong. It’s a song about the feeling of being invisible, that no matter how loud you scream, nobody hears you. For everyone, that burns so bright, but noone else sees a spark of the flame.

I have written the lyrics at a time, when I felt weak and alone, but I used this darkness as ammunition to get stronger. One never knows, what goes on in somebodys head or what he’s capable of. That’s why I want to remind the people with this song, never to underestimate the outcasts. That we have the ability to use the doubts of others, to ignite something in us – to ignite a match and set the world on fire.

It felt right, to release this track next, because this was the first song I showed Nikki, when I asked, if she wanted to join the band. I knew, that she could scream, but I had never really heard her sing, so I gave her that song, which she was supposed to record and send back to me, to make sure, she was the one. I was just playing a show, when she returned the demo and let’s just say, that I partied right that night. It was a dream-come-true.

We showed the heavier side of the new era of Blood Command with “A Villain’s Monologue”. Now it’s time to shake up with “The End Is Her” – the quintessence of Death Pop, the hymn for everybody, who once thought that it won’t get better, but found consolation in the understanding, that he isn’t the only one that suffers.”

Blood Command have already been on tour with Biffy Clyro, Rolo Tomassi, and Skindred, after they released the celebrated EP “Return Of The Arsonist”, the conceptional successor of the 2011 EP “Hand Us the Alphamale”.
