Welsh Post-Hardcore-legends Casey introduced the video for their single “For Katie” from their third album “How To Disappear“, released via Hassle Records, today.
“For Katie” is released ahead of Casey’s performance at the Heavy Music Awards 2024 alongside Neck Deep, Graphic Nature, and unpeople. It will be the last performance of Casey before singer Tom Weaver has to recover from open heart surgery (check HERE for Tom’s statement).
On “For Katie” he says:
“The song itself was spurred by a single conversation I had with a friend. She was showing me photos of her and I from high school, and I couldn’t remember anything at all about them. To my eyes, I looked like a completely different, happier person. It drove a sense of worry about how much of my life had been lost to a sadness I’ve never been able to define.
“The footage was captured by Sarai Kelley over the course of the two and a half weeks we spent around Europe in March/April of this year.”
