Grammy nominated Casadee Pope releases her new album, Hereditary

Grammy nominated, Platinum certified singer songwriter Cassadee Pope has released her album, Hereditary. Cassadee captured America’s heart as one of The Voice’s winners. The album signifies her shift from country music and takes her back to her pop punk roots and we are all here for it! Cassadee comments about the album,

“This album follows my journey of self discovery so closely that I feel a little nervous to share certain things. But I needed to let it out. Creating this album was like a 2 year therapy session that continues to be there for me even after its completion”

She has released a video for her track, More To Me. The song is an empowering emotionally driven track that is all about taking your power back from someone who wronged you. The song takes you a journey of how grudges can lead to toxicity and how freeing it is to let go and move forward. Cassadee shares,

“I remember feeling this weight lifted off my shoulders when I stopped letting anger consume me. The resentment was like a blanket I thought was keeping me warm but all it did was prolong the pain. It was important for me to write this because I wanted to capture that moment where I felt free for the first time. It’s sometimes quick and easy to miss, but I didn’t want to forget that feeling.”
