New Jersey punk band Doc Rotten have just released their sophomore EP Sick & Suffering. The new record was produced by Sean Glonek. Guitarist Wes Bentley comments about the new EP,
“We’re extremely excited about this record. The title track is “Sick and Suffering” is about drug addiction and trying to help people get sober and realizing you can’t help if they don’t want help. It’s also about realizing they’re sick people not bad people. Yet still shouldn’t be allowed to play the victim. We’re not against drinking or drug use but with the drug epidemic (specifically heroin) as bad as it is in cities like Trenton, it’s something that hit home on a personal level to us.”
