Have you ever listened to a song and find yourself completely submersing yourself into it as it swallows you up and covers you in emotion? Heavy, huh? Well that is exactly how it was for the first time I heard the new song, Insomnia by Pryti. It is an exquisite track that literally just engulfed me in emotion. “I had a story in my head when I wrote Insomnia it’s about losing something, looking back and realising it was great and you can’t get over it. I’ve always wanted to write songs that would punch me in the gut like my favourite bands music and that’s what I wanted Tales of a Melancholic to be. My songs are inspired by a lot of TV shows and films so in a way I created my own soundtrack.”
Pryti is an amazing talented musician as she not only wrote and sang the songs, but played the guitar and bass on her album.
