Hard rockers Wings of Steel truly capture your attention with their acoustic cover of Judas Priest’s Dreamer Deceiver. The song was performed by Leo Unnermark on vocals, Parker Halub on Lead guitar and Stefan Bailet on rhythm guitar and the session directed/filmed by Christian & Jean-Babtiste Lamet (METALXS/HARDFORCE). The event was organized by Olivier Garnier. The video was shot during a promotion day at Hard Rock Cafe Paris (before its permanent closing) on May 15, 2024. They comment about the track,

“It’s no secret that we are inspired by the early beginnings of Heavy metal music. “Dreamer Deceiver” is a Deep cut from Judas Priest early work off of the album “Sad wings of destiny” that speaks to the diversity of the band and the genre as a whole. While many bands might cover the classics, we decided to take on the challenge of playing an acoustic version of what we believe to be one of their greatest songs. This cover also helps to showcase our own musical abilities and diversity that is part of our sound”

About the band

Wings of Steel are a hard rock/heavy metal band founded by vocalist Leo Unnermark and guitarist Parker Halub in 2019. The two met while studying music in Los Angeles and have been working together ever since. Rooted in the old-school hard rock and heavy metal of the 70’s and 80’s, the band’s style could be described as an epic, new and unique expression of those classic styles. Infusing Unnermark’s bluesy dynamics and powerful high register with Halub’s bombastic riffs and expressive soloing, the union comes together to create a distinctly massive sound that speaks for itself.

Wings of Steel recently released a Live album in December. The album is of their show at Le Splendid in Lille, France and was recorded without them knowing until later on, giving them the idea to release the recording as a “Live” album which manifested into “Live in France.” The album was released on all major platforms worldwide on December 13^th, 2024. It’s release has opened the band up to a universal fan base that now understands that Wings Of Steel is not just a high power studio band, but a band that can bring the hellfire and melody with their live show.
