Best Summer Ever Tour makes a stop in San Francisco with Shatterproof and Never Let This Go

OK San Francisco, it is time we have a little talk about live music… I know many of you might have been celebrating the Golden State Warriors Game 2 win, but you still had a chance to get out and enjoy a GREAT night of music. The Best Summer Ever Tour made a stop in San Francisco at the Bottom of the Hill and it was definitely a concert you shouldn’t have missed.

The tour features Never Let This Go and Shatterproof along with local opener The Archer.  The Archer kicked off the night with a high energy grungy rock set. They are a very new band and you wouldn’t have guessed it was only their fifth or so show. They are off to a great start and we look forward to catching them at their upcoming shows.

Next up was a kick ass set by Shatterproof. We were excited to catch them perform since they recently signed to Revival Recordings and were impressed by our first listen.  They topped our impressions and blew us away even more. Their live performance was stellar as they blended everything from rock, alternative, pop punk, gypsy rock, post-core, classical and so much more. Their violin based alternative rock will grab a hold of you and it is their live performance that has you in for for the long haul. This is one band you must see! We will be bringing you an interview with them later this week. Keep this band on your radar because they are going places!! Check out some photos of their set by our Rockin Ryan:

The night continued with Never Let This Go, a great rock band from Tempe, Arizona. They released their EP Sleepless Nights in January and it was awesome to hear them perform the new songs. A personal favorite for me was their performance of Better, a song vocalist/guitarist, David Kleinebreil wrote for his mother during a time of uncertainty of her health. We are happy to share that his mother is okay. You can’t help but feel the passion and authenticity the song brings to life. It is rich with emotion and it rocks! Their music will have you engaged and ready for more. They wrapped up their set with a kick ass All American Rejects Cover of Dirty Little Secret.

Portland, Oregon you are up next! If you want to kick off your summer with a night of great music, make sure to check the dates below and get yourself to a show.
