It is time for you to hear A Story Beneath

Story_3

I have recently been listening a lot to a great band from Santa Clarita, California. I hope you are familiar with them and if not, it is time to get acquainted with A Story Beneath. Phil Goff is on Guitar and Vocals, Toddy Libby on Bass and Keys, and Markus Flick on drums. These three guys come together with driving rhythms, melodic chords blended with some powerful rock reminiscent of Silverchair, early Tool and Incubus but they definitely have a sound of their own.  Once you start listening to them, believe me, you might not stop. They currently play one of my new “Go To” Songs, “Chamelion”. This song just gets up in me and has me revived in an instant. Make sure to check it out on their Reverbnation page or on their band profile from Facebook.

A Story Beneath has as a lot of great things ahead for them. They currently are in the Battle of the Bands competition to play the Ernie Ball stage at this year’s Warped Tour. You can vote for them daily here. We need to see these guys on that stage!  Also, they are working on completing their first full length album and you can be a part of the process. They have created a campaign through GOFUNDME to raise funds to get this album out there. Take a listen to their music and you will be just as excited to be part of their artistic vision and join them in getting this album completed!

We had a chance to talk with Phil Goff of  A Story Beneath and are excited to bring that interview to you:
