Today our spotlight band is on the addictive music of The Fame Riot. The band which features the fabulous brothers, Liz Scarlett and Shazam “Tea Time” Watkins. This will definitely be the year for The Fame Riot as they recently announced their signing to Another Century. Century Label Group President Don Robertson states,
“I am thrilled to announce we have signed Tacoma, Washington’s The Fame Riot to Another Century. Being from the Northwest and starting my career in the explosion of the Seattle music scene really makes me appreciate how much talent is still to be found back home. Robert Kampf (Century Label Group Global CEO) and I first saw Liz and Shazam in their last band after a friend tipped me off and we instantly saw that these two are hands down stars and we wanted to sign them on the spot but they wanted to continue to develop and find their sound. Fast forward four years and I heard about The Fame Riot. When I found out it was their new band and heard the new songs, we knew we must finally work together! The first single ‘Heart Stray’ is an infectious sing along and the video for it only begins to show the personality these guys have.”
They have also just released new music with their video for Heart Stray. You can’t help but get hooked on their adrenaline fun filled music that brings out influences of electro, pop and glam rock. Check out the new video here and make sure to let your friends know about The Fame Riot.
The video which was Filmed throughout parts of Washington state, truly highlights the colorful and infectious personalities of The Fame Riot. Make sure to check out their social media sites and stay up to date on their latest news.

I absolutely love The Fame Riot!!! I see them every chance I get!!
These young men are extremely talented, highly personable and consummate professional musicians. They put on a hell of show. I have seen them at least 7 times over the past 8 months. They were exciting and great the first time I saw them (they looked like rockstars as they stepped out of their car and they truly killed it that night) and they just keep getting better.. I later booked them for a show, as headliners, for an all ages fundraiser at the Bremerton Eagles in June 2016. I can’t wait for the chance to book them again… For me, it’s as if I was given the chance to book the “Stones” or The Stone Roses (for that matter) before they became famous rockstars. Washington peeps see these guys while you can before they hit the road and play big arenas. If you produce shows- book them, you won’t be sorry. One last thing- Mason Spence of The Fame Riot is fantastic drummer and a heck of a guy! He really ought to be mentioned more in these types of articles.
