Dirty Honey Ignites Sacramento with Raw Rock Energy at Ace of Spades

October 31, 2024

Dirty Honey made their way back to Sacramento and put on one hell of a show at the Ace of Spades, October 30th, 2024. Opening the night was The Band Feel, an incredible newer band that delivered unapologetic, high-energy rock and roll. Their sound captures the spirit of early ‘70s Zeppelin, yet it’s wrapped in a modern, unmistakably original style. Hailing from St. Louis, they quickly won over the crowd and built a dedicated new fan base. With members Tyler Armstrong – guitarist, Garrett Barcus – vocals, Kadin Rea – bass, and TJ Steinwart- drums, the band brought fierce energy and undeniable chemistry to the stage. Each musician contributed a unique presence, blending classic rock vibes with a fresh, edgy sound that left a lasting impression. When Dirty Honey took the stage, the crowd erupted, knowing they were in for a night of relentless, kick-ass rock and roll. Every time we have seen them, they blow us away, and just when we think they’ve hit the peak of their game, they surprise us by reaching [Read More]

Bishop Briggs fuels Sacramento with her high energy set at Ace of Spades

May 2, 2018

Last night in Sacramento, the place to be was at the Ace of Spades for the sold out Bishop Briggs show. Fans lined up hours earlier and were sharing their Bishop Briggs tales of past concerts, favorite songs and fan memories.  It was great to see that the crowd had no specific demographic, as Bishop’s music is a fave for all.  There were parents who brought their young 5 – 10 year old girls who couldn’t wait to see the show. The crowd was filled with fans from ages 5 to 75, and all were in for a killer night. The evening kicked off with an amazing set by Matt Maeson who wooed the crowd with his infectious songs that brought the crowd to their feet. You can also catch Matt at the end of the month at BottleRock Napa Festival. The venue was filled to capacity and the crowd was ready for Bishop to hit the stage. As the lights dimmed once again, the crowd erupted into screams and cheer to greet Bishop to [Read More]

December 2, 2015

We have been talking a lot about the great music of Lullwater and we finally got the chance to check them out live this past weekend. They made a stop in Sacramento at the Ace of Spades for the Massive Collision Tour with Amaranthe and Butcher Babies. It was quite a night of high energy music that kept us fueled for the week! Lullwater kicked off the night with their alternative singed hard rock! They really bring an energy to the stage that infects the crowd and has them begging for more. It was great to see them perform songs off their recently released album, Revival which was recorded on analog and is a raw natural beauty.  We had the chance to chat with vocalist/rhythm guitarist, John Strickland before their set and you can check out that interview here: It was quite a night. In addition to their set, John came out and sang vocals on a couple songs with Amaranthe. It was an extra special treat and I was in awe of his natural ease [Read More]
