Photo Gallery: Dreamers return to the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco

March 17, 2018

We were so glad to see that Dreamers was on the lineup for the New Politics Lost In Translation tour. They returned to the legendary Fillmore to perform and it was once again a highlight for us.  Dreamers are truly one of our favorite bands and each time we see them, they continue to impress us. For a band of three, they create a larger than life sound that lifts the crowd to new levels.   One of the highlights of their performance was to hear live their cover of Zombie by the Cranberries, which they had recorded back in November 2017, months before the passing of singer Dolores O’Riordan. It truly is a remarkable cover and to  hear it performed live is surreal. The Dreamers give everything they got when they are out on the stage and it you can hear the passion when they perform. Incredible live band that you don’t want to miss. Check out more photos from their set in SF: You can catch Dreamers out on tour now.   Make [Read More]

Interview with our BottleRock Napa Spotlight Band: New Politics at their Fillmore headlining show

March 16, 2018

One thing is certain, New Politics are the must-see band of this year’s BottleRock Napa Festival. From the moment we heard they would be on the lineup, we were excited for everyone to catch their performance. It was nearly eight years ago when I was first introduced to New Politics. They were an opening band for The Spill Canvas at Slim’s in San Francisco and ten seconds into their set, we were blown away. They gave us a performance that raised the hairs on our neck, full on non-stop energy and intensity.  Fast forward to 2018 and New Politics still succeed at delivering that level of intensity and magic on stage. We recently caught their return performance at the legendary Fillmore for their headlining tour in support of their new album, Lost In Translation. It was another magical evening as their stage presence electrifies the crowd and everyone is instantly infused with bliss. Check out some photos from their set by our Rockin Ryan: Need more New Politics, check out our slideshow: The Lost In [Read More]

ZZ Ward wraps up The Storm tour on a sea of love in LA. By Patrick O’Heffernan

March 14, 2018

Patrick O’Heffernan (Hollywood) Pure, unconditional love.  That is the only way to describe the sold-out crowd at the last concert of  ZZ Ward’s Storm Tour in the Fonda Theater Thursday night.  Many of those fans had traveled hundreds of miles to see her and they let her know how much they loved her.  And Ward returned the love many times over.   Striding on stage after a killer set by Black Pistol Fire, rocking her signature Fedora, studded black leather low rider pants and a skin colored sleeveless top, Ward launched into “Let It Burn” with an intensity that got the audience screaming in the first verse.  When she pulled out her harmonica the screaming went nonstop. Moving from “Let it Burn” to “Ghost” and then onto “Put the Gun Down” with her acoustic guitar, the blues rock goddess’s country-curl rock voice vibrated all the way to the back row of the packed balcony.   Power and confidence flowed from the stage and loved flowed back. That love has been building since 2012 when she [Read More]

September 29, 2017

Kane Brown open the night up at the Concord Pavilion for the fans with his deep Georgia southern voice. They young 23 year old country artist soothed the young fans with his looks and lyrics and while the older fans don’t mind it either. Dropping new songs that are going to be on his new album coming out in October. Next up was Chris Young who just flew in from Houston Texas this morning. Chris Young must really enjoy playing for all his fans or it must be a country thing. Chris was all smiles and getting the fans what they paid for tonight, great music and being friendly to all that came to watch not him but him and the other performers tonight. Fans were singing along lyric to lyric from the front of the stage to the back of the grass. Finally it was the headliner, Jason Aldean to end this perfect night in fall.
