June 24, 2017

We are pleased to report that the fountain of youth is no myth as it was discovered at the Concord Pavilion last night. The United We Rock Tour featuring Styx, REO Speedwagon and Don Felder delivered a night of music that left the crowd and musicians rejuvenated and energized, reclaiming the spirit of their youth. Each band sounded incredible and it was obvious they all have been held in a time capsule. They rocked the stage with intense energy and fervor, delivering nonstop rock n roll from start to finish. It was amazing to see these legendary musicians perform with endless stamina and passion, exceeding many musicians half their age. They literally gave 150% on that stage. You could tell by the ear to ear smiles on the musicians that they are all exactly where they should be; performing on stage! Lynch Mob deliver a heaping dose of ROCK to Santa Rosa at the House of Rock

June 20, 2017

The House of Rock in Santa Rosa have consistently been delivering incredible shows to Sonoma County and they did it again this past weekend. The intimate premiere venue featured a night of incredible Rock with Lynch Mob hitting the stage Friday night. The show started off with a fierce set by FeatherWitch, incredible cover band featuring hits from the 70’s and 80’s. The crowd loved them and were singing along to their favorites. Check out photos of their set by our Rockin Ryan: The crowd erupted in cheer as Lynch Mob hit the stage. Their set was kicked off with high energy that continued until they stepped off the stage. The highlight was when they played Just Got Lucky (Dokken) which they mentioned was the first time the band performed it live. The crowd felt honored to be part of the special performance. The concert was made even more spectacular with the addition of the excellent sound system and lighting that House of Rock boasts. Check out photos from their set: You can catch Lynch [Read More]

Photo Gallery of SWMRS at BottleRock Napa and catch them at LIVE105 BFD this Saturday

June 5, 2017

At BottleRock Napa we were excited to catch the SWMRS set. We have seen them a couple times before and they always give such an incredible high energy punk rock set. They got the crowd riled up with their angsty punk rock that captivated the crowd. The adrenaline was endless and they definitely gained thousands of more new fans that day. Their die hard fans were up front and center singing along with their fists in the air. It was spectacular to witness how this band has grown so much in the past couple years and they will continue to make huge strides in the music scene. Check out photos from their set by our Rockin Ryan: You can catch SWMRS this Saturday at LIVE105 BFD at Shoreline Amphitheatre. They will be playing on the Bud Light Festival Stage. Who needs coffee, when you have The Helmets high energy set to fuel your day at BottleRock

June 4, 2017

Once again BottleRock Napa had an endless supply of amazing musicians on four stages.  Whether you were tired or not on Sunday morning, you were ready to party when the festival was kicked off by a fierce set from The Helmets. The young group or rockers consists of Tye Trujillo on bass,  (12, son of Robert Trujillo of Metallica), Bastian Evans (12) on Guitar, Kai Neukermans (12) on drums, and Bryan Ferretti (13) on vocals. They came out with 150% and never wavered with the energy. It was like a instant punch of adrenaline as they rocked the main stage, playing their original tracks and covers that had the crowd singing along.   Check out the photos from their set by our Rockin Ryan: We caught them perform last year and it is amazing to see how they have grown with their musical talent. They blew us away last year and they continue to raise the bar with an even better performance this year. The endless energy was flowing from the stage and infecting the [Read More]

LIVE’s extraordinary set at BottleRock Napa took me back to my 20’s

June 4, 2017

A very personal highlight for myself at BottleRock Napa 2017 has to be seeing the original lineup of LIVE perform. They have reunited and the original lineup of Kowalczyk, guitarist Chad Taylor, bassist Patrick Dahlheimer and drummer Chad Gracey are in the midst of a World Tour. In addition to touring they will be releasing new music. Their set brought me back to the first time I saw them, back in a small nightlclub (possibly the DNA Lounge or Paradise Lounge) in San Francisco in the early 90’s. It was right before they entered into mainstream success and it was such an honor to catch them in the intimate environment. One thing was certain, over the years, I have held bands live performances to the standards of LIVE’s performance in that small venue.  They had energy, adrenaline and passion exuding with every note, beat and lyric. Fast forward to BottleRock Napa 2017 and LIVE’s performance had me reminiscing of that first show. They hit the stage and were non-stop with the energy. They impressed me all [Read More]

Interview with Justin of Blue October ahead of their stellar performance at The Fillmore in San Francisco

May 20, 2017

Earlier this week we headed to the legendary Fillmore as Blue October brought the Heart Go Bang Tour to San Francisco. We have impatiently waited for this date to arrive. See, Blue October was not just another band for us to cover, they are a band that had provided the playlist to my life’s ups and downs for the past 20 years. Most recently in March, during my Mother’s hospice care at home, she would lay next to me and listen to Blue October, nearly silent for days, yet show would respond and tell me she liked the songs. Her favorite during that time, The Feel Again, (Stay).  What a heavy song and yet, I truly clutched to those words… Stay… selfishly I wanted more time with her.  After she passed away, I could feel the dark depression setting in as it had with my Father 5 years earlier. But I turned to music and once again to Blue October. Their latest album, Home which shot up the charts to a No. 1 spot [Read More]
