The Eeries Break The Barricade in NYC! Yes, You Read That Correctly. Contributed by Allison Socol

November 11, 2014

If by any chance you were wondering which band got the honored opportunity to tour with THE. ONE. AND. ONLY- “Uncle Jiggy” (A true MCR fan will understand who) on his ‘First’ new solo tour… Then you’ll be pleased to know it was a band called The Eeries. I was fortunate to see these guys in action at Webster Hall, NYC. And I think four words can sum up their performance: They. Broke. The. Barricade. No Joke! These guys had the crowd jumping up and down, dancing to the beat, and drooling over them. ( I mean who wouldn’t…they have beards! and long hair! :O) The crowd was going so hard in the pit, that when lead singer Isaiah Silva stage dived into the crowd, everyone was pushing against the barricade too hard and it started closing in on all the photographers in the pit. Not to mention the floor almost split into two from everyone jumping! But the moment these fans saw that Gerard Way walked on to the stage with these guys…..that was it for that [Read More]

Polar releases new music video for Bloodlines

November 10, 2014

Post hardcore band Polar have released their music video for Bloodlines. “‘Bloodlines’ really means a lot to me,” proclaims vocalist Adam “Woody” Woodford. “Lyrically, it comes from a hard time for me and my family. I won’t name names, but it turns out that one of the family members was stealing from another and then they became very hostile towards my side of the family and that’s where the line ‘living with a death wish’ comes from. On a more positive note, it’s one of my favourite tunes to play live, so come down and party with us on the BWP tour in December – we can’t wait!” Check out the video here:  The song is off their North American debut album, Shadowed By Vultures. Polar are currently out on tour in Europe with Close Your Eyes. Check the dates below and see if you are able to make it out to one of their shows. Falling In Reverse deliver a DO NOT MISS set on The Black Mass Tour

November 8, 2014

We recently brought you our recap of the Black Veil Brides Black Mass Tour as it made a stop in San Francisco at the legendary Warfield Theater. You can read more about the whole night here. We know that if you are like us, you are addicted to Falling In Reverse and you need more of a fix, so here you go. Falling In Reverse did it again as they always do….. Put on a great show and they seem to push the bar higher each time, and easily meeting it. Ronnie shined with his over the top spectacular stage presence. Without a doubt, he is the Champion of the stage! One of the reasons that Falling in Reverse is so damn fun is because of Mr. Ronnie Radke, who is a true entertainer in all aspects. There is no denying it. This is one guy who really proves that no matter how people try to bring him down, he always rises above it and comes back even twice as strong.  He literally makes sure that everyone in [Read More]

Pop Evil – Concert Review – Backstage Munich, Nov. 5th, 2014 and Interview with Leigh

November 8, 2014

Concert Review Contributed by Alexandra There was light rain outside and it got pretty cold in Munich that day. A few fans waited outside, when doors opened at 7pm. Show start was scheduled for 8pm. There wasn’t an opening act officially announced for the Germany tour, so it was kind of a surprise, who that would be. It was a local band called Thunder and Blitzkrieg (www.thunderandblitzkrieg.com). You can’t really define their music to a certain style. I’d say it’s hard rock with punk influences. They had a few fans there that knew the lyrics. When they started to play there weren’t really that many people there, but the ones that were seemed to like it.  Check out a slide show of photos from their set:   The room was more crowded, when at 9pm Pop Evil started their set. They were greeted with loud cheers and immediately started with ‚Flawed‘. Their 13  piece set-list consisted mostly of songs from their current record ‘Onyx‘, the album they tour now for almost 2 years. They played [Read More]
