Butcher Babies at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco for Golden Gods Tour

  This weekend was once again filled with incredible shows to cover and incredible sets by many awesome bands, check out our coverage of Devil You Know here and Black Label Society here. Friday night we were at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco for the Revolver Golden Gods Tour. The night started off with a fierce set by one of my favorite bands, Butcher Babies. We had a blast covering them last year at the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival and were glad to see them back. This band is never short on energy as they were determined to start the night off with a bang. The crowd was packed and I believe it was a sold out, or nearly sold out show. The best part was that everyone got there early enough to catch the full set of Butcher Babies. Another highlight from Bottle Rock was Smash Mouth

  We had listed SmashMouth as one of our featured bands of the Day for Bottle Rock last month and they were awesome last Saturday. We were running around like crazy but we were glad we could make it out to the Miner Stage to catch a few of their songs from their set. It was packed from front to back, side to side. They were truly there to give the fans what they wanted; an absolutely fun time filled with their favorite songs. This band does not need any introduction as almost all of us at one time or another cranked up “All Star” and sang out loud at the top of our lungs. Awoken Shadows bring to life a theatrical side to metalcore that you must see!

We recently told you about the amazing night on Sunday as we covered Cherri Bomb at the DNA Show in San Francisco. Another great band we must tell you about is Awoken Shadows who we have been waiting to once again catch live!  We will also be bringing you coverage on the opening bands of A Hero to Fall, Oh! The Horror and Chapters. We have been following the fast rise of Awoken Shadows after first seeing them perform earlier this year at Ace of Spades opening for Escape The Fate. They instantly caught our eye and we were sad we got there to only catch a couple songs.  But this time, we were excited to see Awoken Shadows perform at the DNA Lounge and we were not going to miss any of their set! The Deadlies delivered a fun beach party set at Bottle Rock Napa 2014!

  The Deadlies were one of our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Bands and we were able to catch their set this past Saturday. One thing is for sure, they truly brought the fun to the festival. Their stage was set up like a surf party complete with beach go-go dancers. The City Winery Local Stage was one of the most happenin spots when The Deadlies took to the stage. This is a local band with a big sound! As we told you before in our preshow coverage, you may have already seen or heard them play but we were not familiar with them. The Deadlies can be described as a California surf punk/rock band with a little Honky Tonk and Country thrown in.  One thing is for sure, when you listen to The Deadlies, you can’t help but move around and have some fun! Cherri Bomb lights up the DNA Lounge in SF with their fantastic “MUST SEE” set!

Sunday night we trekked down to San Francisco to catch Cherri Bomb play at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco. It was a night filled with great bands, many were from Santa Rosa like us. All the bands were great and will bring you individual coverage on them to include, Oh! The Horror, A Hero To Fall, Chapters, and Awoken Shadows.
