Guitar Legend NEAL SCHÖN releases new video for “Love Finds a Way” from new album with Marco Mendoza and Deen Castronovo

Guitar Legend Neal Schön best known as co-founding member and lead guitarist of Journey has teamed up with bassist Marco Mendoza (Black Star Riders, Ted Nugent, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and drummer Deen Castronovo (Journey, Ozzy Osbourne, Steve Vai, Hardline). Together they are set to release their forthcoming album “SO U” on May 19th through Frontier Records. The album which is described as a jazz and blues inspired hard rock studio album can be pre-ordered now  via iTunes, Amazonand via theJourney online store; which will include the download of their new track “Exotica”. Listen to a sneak preview of new track Hyper Doom by renowned Guitarist Marty Friedman

We recently shared with you the music video by renowned guitarist Marty Friedman for the title track, Inferno which is off his highly anticipated forthcoming album. Now we wanted to give you a sneak preview of another track off Inferno. Check out this video where you can hear a preview of the song that kicks off the concert performances on his current European tour with Gus G. This time it is the song, Meat Hook which features “blackjazz” rebel Jørgen Munkeby (Shining) on vocals and saxophone. Gilby Clarke releases video for Tijuana Jail on 20th anniversary of solo album

Gilby Clarke, primarily known for his former role as guitarist in Guns n Roses and MC5. Gilby is not only an amazing guitar legend but also quite a stellar singer and songwriter. He has recently released a video for his song, Tijuana Jail which was featured on his solo album Pawnshop Guitars 20 years ago.  So for the 20th anniversary of the album, check out the new video for Tijuana Jail here:   The video was directed and edited by Rocco Guarino. That is such a bad ass song and if you need more Gilby Clarke, get ready because he is touring this summer. Renowned Guitarist Marty Friedman releases music video for Inferno off forthcoming album

    Renowned guitarist Marty Friedman has released a music video for the title track, Inferno which is off his highly anticipated forthcoming album. The album is set to release in North America on May 27th. The concept for the video was inspired by a television show in Japan and is where Marty resides. Marty explains more about the video, “The music video for ‘Inferno’ is an homage/parody of one of my fave Japanese TV shows, ‘Zenryokusaka‘ (‘Full Power Hill’). It’s a weekly five-minute show where the entire premise is absolutely nothing but a girl running up a hill. Each week a different girl, and a different hill. I am hooked on this show, and think it is genius in its simplicity and ever-so-slight sexual nature. It took me a while to explain the charm of the show to the video director, but I think towards the end of making our video together, he got it.
