Linda Perry’s Make or Break Project winner Hemming set to release new album

  Hemming  was first introduced to the world through VH1’s Make or Break : The Linda Perry Project as one half of the Philadelphia punk duo Omar. Make or Break was developed by superstar producer and songwriter Linda Perry as the antithesis to reality music shows.  Martello joined the show as part of a band, but it was her solo work and a song called “Vitamins” that caught Perry’s attention and started Martello on the journey of finding and developing the voice of Hemming. At the conclusion of the show Martello was presented with the opportunity to make a record with Perry and that record is set to release on July 24th . The debut will mark the re-launch of Perry’s label, Custard Records. Hemming’s vocals draw you in and wraps you in a blanket of emotion. She brings out a honest rawness when she sings, which is so welcoming these days. She truly shines as an artist. Gonna be a great summer as Black Veil Brides announce they will be on the Vans Warped Tour

2014 was an amazing year for Black Veil Brides wit the release of their self titled album and what we think was the best tour of 2014 Black Mass Tour.  Well, it looks like they are ready to make 2015 even bigger as they continue with their Black Mass Tour and they have just announced they will be on this year’s Vans Warped Tour.  What great news and we can’t wait for them to bring their over the top energetic sets to the tour. Mallory Trunnell knows how to party and make people happy. By Patrick O’Heffernan

  Mallory Trunnell knows  how to party and she threw an heck of one at the Hotel Café Sunday night to release her new album,  Words.  Dramatic in a puffy pink prom dress with a blue silk sash marvelously clashing with her red hair,  brilliant red  lipstick and plastic flower necklace, Mallory was dressed for the part…part music, part fun,  part party.  She started the party with a parade of singing a Capella girls, who wound their way through the audience to stand in front of the stage adding a backup of ooh-ohh –oho and bong, bong, bong” to “Mallory’s  opening number from the new album, “My Turn”.  It was smiles from there. But despite the celebratory atmosphere, Mallory Trunnell is not a party girl; she is a busy girl, and has been from an early age.  She grew up in Delta Utah and began an acting career at the age of 4 and started writing songs at 9, pretty sizeable accomplishments for a child in a desert town of about 3500 people. If by any chance you were wondering which band got the honored opportunity to tour with THE. ONE. AND. ONLY- “Uncle Jiggy” (A true MCR fan will understand who) on his ‘First’ new solo tour… Then you’ll be pleased to know it was a band called The Eeries. I was fortunate to see these guys in action at Webster Hall, NYC. And I think four words can sum up their performance: They. Broke. The. Barricade. No Joke! These guys had the crowd jumping up and down, dancing to the beat, and drooling over them. ( I mean who wouldn’t…they have beards! and long hair! :O) The crowd was going so hard in the pit, that when lead singer Isaiah Silva stage dived into the crowd, everyone was pushing against the barricade too hard and it started closing in on all the photographers in the pit.
