We are excited to share the news that the iconic band Social Distortion will be performing at SOMO Village Event Center on June 2nd. SOMO Concerts are definitely bringing some amazing artists to the roster this season. This will be their 5th season of bringing live music to Sonoma County at the 3000 capacity solar-powered outdoor venue The show is presented by Ineffable Live and Second Octave and tickets for the show will go on sale tomorrow, Friday, March 30th.

Social Distortion has not only been one of the most influential punk bands, they have also maintained their popularity for over 30 years. They have generations of fans and it is awesome to see the variety of ages that are at the concerts. I can still remember the first time I saw Social Distortion. They were playing with Sonic Youth and Neil Young Crazy Horse at the Cow Palace, back in 1991. I was hooked and soon after wore out two CDs from playing them all the time. Since then, I have had the pleasure of seeing them perform over a dozen times and each time, they capture the spirit and intensity of that first show.
