The Pretty Reckless have just made radio history! Not since Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders have a female fronted band have two #1 Songs in a row at rock radio. Taylor Momsen and the band can be very proud to become the second band to ever achieve that record.“Messed Up World,” the band’s new chart-topper, follows The Pretty Reckless’ first single, “Heaven Knows,” which has spent 14 weeks at #1 at mainstream rock and is the top rock song of the year.
This just proves that Rock isn’t Dead as many might think or have publicly claimed. Take a listen to the radio, head out to shows and you will see that rock n roll is alive and thriving.
