CROBOT announces new tour dates with Kyng and Kill Devil Hill

March 25, 2014

  – TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT – We just got the news that one of our FAVORITE BAD ASS BANDS… CROBOT  is heading out on tour at the end of April with two more of our favorite bands; Kyng and Kill Devil Hill.   We just saw Kyng on Sunday night when they performed with Lacuna Coil in Sacramento. I believe that was the 5th time I have seen Kyng and they are just awesome. Just last week, we brought you our interview with Crobot as we met up with them prior to their set at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco. Unbelievable set!  Crobot is a four piece band from Pennsylvania that have a Dirty Groove Rock sound. They are like no other band out there today. Crobot is bringing the life back into classic rock/ stoner rock  with a double dose of groove in a modern style. Think like Zep ala Soundgarden with a side of Wolfmother. They have such a killer sound that is groove heavy, riff rock or as they say: “Bang your head [Read More]

The Wonder Years premier new video for Dismantling Summer

March 25, 2014

Pop Punk sensation, The Wonder Years are in the midst of their shows for their headlining tour, “The Greatest Generation Tour”. They have been having great success with the tour and shows are selling out. They just released a music video for Dismantling Summer which is off of their latest album, The Greatest Generation. The video was directed by Drew Russ and shot in the band’s hometown of Philadelphia, PA. “We knew that for a song so personal, a literal re-telling for the video would be unwelcome and painful.”  Says lead vocalist Dan “Soupy” Campbell. “Drew, the director took the core nerve of the song, the idea of being away when it matters most, and spun it into an absurdist piece of dark comedy during which my family found themselves fed up with my perpetual absence and replaced me with a mannequin, leaving me in the literal cold.”  Check out the video here:     You can catch The Wonder Years out on their headlining tour with support from Fireworks, Real Friends, Citizen and Modern Baseball. March 25, 2014

Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Arist is Roem Baur. For today, we are pleased to treat you to an amazing singer/songwriter who has a voice that will have you in awe! Roem is an operatic trained singer who brings to life his songs, whether they are alternative, folk, blues, indie rock or soul. He magically wraps his own unique voice around his songs and has the notes and lyrics dancing in the air.  Roem performed several shows at this year’s SXSW and now we are looking forward to his performance at the VIP Lounge for this year’s Bottle Rock Napa 2014 Festival. Roem Baur currently has an EP out featuring a full band. This four song EP has four great upbeat fun songs. Roem‘s vocals are bluesy and has a great vocal range that can transfer it’s weight for emotionally driven lyrics. You can feel the passion he brings to his music through his tone and projection. He really will have everyone on their feet moving around when he plays.  I don’t know if [Read More]

Framing Hanley set to release new album The Sum of Who We are on April 29th

March 24, 2014

Exciting news to announce about Framing Hanley. They are set to release their new album, The Sum of Who We on April 29th on their new label Imagen Records.  This will be Framing Hanley‘s third CD and the first in 4 years. Frontman Nixon explains, “There was definitely a dark period during the 2 years we spent recording this. That’s not to say this album is some dark and brooding album. There are definitely some light-hearted tunes on here as well; some that are fun. This album is the past 2 years of our lives and is every part of our beings…that’s what the title means. This album really is the sum of who we are. The thing that I love most is, I think when the listener puts on those headphones, or puts the cd in the car, he or she is gonna listen and come to find out, hey, me and this guy have got some things in common!” This album is said to be the bands boldest artistic statement to date capturing the essence of innocence and hope, light [Read More]
