Five Finger Death Punch is our Monster Energy Aftershock Festival Featured Band of the Day

  Today our spotlight is on a band that delivered one of the best sets at last year’s Aftershock Festival. We are pleased to announce the return of Five Finger Death Punch and they are our Featured Band of the Day. Their  performance was awesome last year. These guys came out with adrenaline running through their veins and they did not let up on their fierce energy. The crowd was intense and Ivan had control of them from the front of the pit to the very back of the crowd. His magnetic drew them all in as they were then treated to the spectacular guitar shredding by Jason Hook and Zoltan Bathory. But then you couldn’t help but watch the beard, the man himself, Chris Kael, bassist extraordinaire. Neck Deep are definitely a crowd favorite at Warped Tour

Another one of our Vans Warped Tour Highlights goes to the amazing pop punk band, Neck Deep. When you watch them, you can’t stand still as the energy builds up inside of you and you find yourself jumping around and neck deep in adrenaline. see what I did there…. lol. They really got the crowd pumped up and are definitely one of the sets you shouldn’t miss. Make sure to check the schedule as you arrive at Warped Tour for their set time. Neck Deep are performing on the Hard Rock Kevin Says Stage and will be until the end of the tour. Another Warped Tour gem is Battle of the Bands winner, Gates of Ivory

Warped Tour has always been a way to introduce music lovers to new bands and especially with the Ernie Ball stage. We wanted to tell you about one of our Warped Tour highlights, the set by Battle of the Bands winner Gates of Ivory. Gates of Ivory performed on the June 21st date in Mountain View, CA at the Shoreline Amphitheater. We were excited to catch all the great bands and were literally running from one stage to the next. One of the stages we wanted to stop at was the Ernie Ball stage so we could see Gates of Ivory. I had a friend tell me to make sure to check them out. Well, I am glad we did! Anberlin premiere music video for Stranger Ways

Anberlin have been busy kicking ass on this year’s Vans Warped Tour. They are set to release their new album lowborn on July 22nd via Tooth & Nail Records and follow it up with a farewell world tour. This album brings Anberlin full circle as lowborn will be released on Tooth & Nail, the first record label to which Anberlin was signed. Instead of recording the album together, the musicians did their parts with separate producers they each selected. Drums were recorded with Matt Goldman in Atlanta and later combined with bass and guitar in Lakeland, FL with Copeland’s Aaron Marsh. Vocals were recorded with the band’s longtime collaborator Aaron Sprinkle in Franklin, TN.  They have recently released a video for Stranger Ways. Check it out here: Consisting of Stephen Christian (vocals), Joseph Milligan (guitar), Deon Rexroat (bass), Nathan Young (drums), and Christian McAlhaney (guitar), Anberlin have been a band for 12 years. Singer Songwriter Jamie Alimorad does it again with another great music video!

Singer Songwriter Jamie Alimorad is definitely on his way to scoring another great You Tube hit with his new music video. The Boston based singer won over his Youtube fans with his first music video for Beautiful by reaching over  2 million views! Jamie’s charismatic songwriting and his captivating vocals are ready to do it again with his new video. He has released his music video for Crawling Back to Me, the second single off his album, Words Left Unsaid.  The song is a fun catchy pop punk track that takes you on a tale of a crazy ex-girlfriend. The video truly captures the fun spirit of the song. Jamie’s vocals carry the perfect punk angst vibe that bring the lyrics to life. The video is sure to be another fan fave! Great metalcore band from Greece, New World Disorder to check out!

If you like metalcore, I have a great new band for you, at least they are new to me!  They are New World Disorder and they have a refreshing melodic style to their metalcore. This is a band who went after playing the music they wanted to hear and stayed true to their vision. The result is their unique own style that blends thrash, progressive, symphonic metal, melodic metal, everything comes into play and it works quite well with the perfect fit of heavy and the right blend of cleans. Like A Storm release new music video for Nothing Remains

  New Zealand rockers Like A Storm release a music video for their new song, Nothing Remains. This is their latest single and was filmed by Chris Fisher and edited by Jared Ward. Check it out here: It is a great song and will have you cranking it up loud and it has a very dreamy rock vibe to it. The song is off their album, Chaos Theory Pt. 1and available on iTunes here.   I still remember the first time I saw Like A Storm years ago when they came to San Francisco and opened for Alter Bridge. I was blown away by their performance and have loved their music ever since. They have busy touring and we can’t wait for them to return to San Francisco.
