Divided Heaven kick off West Coast dates and catch them at DNA Lounge in SF

Divided Heaven are set to kick off their tour tonight in Carlsbad, CA at the Boar Cross’n. The West Coast tour will have the Dead Frets as support and we are happy to see that they will be making a stop tomorrow night in San Francisco at the DNA Lounge. Divided Heaven features Jeff Berman but the tour will be featuring a full band. They are touring in support of their album, Youngblood which was released earlier this year on Say-10 Records. One of our featured Monster Energy Aftershock Bands of the Day is Young Guns. The London based rockers have been consistently grabbing everyone’s attention. We are very excited to see them performing at this year’s Aftershock Festival. Right after the festival they will be setting out on tour with You Me At Six. Young Guns most recent single, I Want Out shot to No. 1 on the Tunes Rock Chart in the UK and they have now released a great video for it. Ben Woods delivered a spectacular flamenco set at Jason Becker’s Not Dead Yet 3

Last Saturday when we headed out to the Jason Becker’s Not Dead Yet 3 Festival at the Great American Music Hall, I knew it was going to be a night filled with awesome music. But it was even more amazing as each set was spectacular and so different from the next. The night opened with Ben Woods and he treated us to some of the most beautiful music infused with his flamenco style. It was intense as his guitar played bled out such emotion with each note. With his special guests of Mike Bennett (Richie Kotzen) and Salar Nader on percussions and the talented flamenco dancer, Arleen Hurtado, the atmopshere grew into a magical space that allowed the music to carry you away and take you deep into the rich culture of flamenco.
