Nothing More releases video for Mr. MTV and see them out on tour now!

September 21, 2014

Nothing More have released a new music video and this time it is for my FAVORITE song of theirs, Mr. MTV. This is one powerful track that has some very thought provoking lyrics. The first time I heard them play this was last year when we saw them perform at Aftershock 2013. They blew us away and this year, they did it again. Check out the new video here: This is one band that exceeds all your expectations with their live performances. From their three man bass solo and their full band percussion performance, everyone is left in awe of their over the top stage presence. They are currently out on tour with Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat and Hellyeah. Definitely a must see tour. Check the dates below and get yourself to a show:   Date Venue Location   Sep 22 The Machine Shop Flint, MI Sep 23 The Oncenterw/ Hellyeah, Volbea… Syracuse, NY Sep 25 Baltimore Arenaw/ Hellyeah, Volbea… Baltimore, MD Sep 26 Tsongas Centerw/ Hellyeah, Volbea… Lowell, MA Sep 27 Times [Read More]

Butcher Babies returned to Aftershock Festival with a fierce set!

September 21, 2014

We were glad to see the return of the Butcher Babies at this year’s Monster Energy Aftershock Festival. They are one of the most energetic female fronted bands out today. What is really awesome is that these frontwomen could give many men a run for their money when it comes to bringing power and presence to the stage. They hit the stage and took control of the crowd, energized everyone and definitely raised the heat a dozen or so degrees! We will be bringing you an interview with vocalist, Heidi Shepard later this week. Check out the photos by our Rockin Ryan from their blazing set: We were glad to hear them perform songs from their new EP Uncovered which is due out on September 30th through Century Media Records. The 5 song EP will feature cover songs that were chosen by each band member, and in the early summer of this year, they entered the studio with producer Logan Mader (DEVILDRIVER, GOJIRA, 5 FINGER DEATH PUNCH) to dissect and “butcher” these five classics, creating something [Read More]

Black Label Society dominated Aftershock with their stellar set

September 20, 2014

Aftershock Festival truly was filled with so many great bands but one set that really stood out was the performance by Black Label Society. It is hard at festivals since you could have several bands playing at the same time but Black Label Society dominated the crowd. Their crowd was filled with both, longtime and new Berzerkers of all ages. Nothing stopped the dedicated fans as they braved the intense 100+ temps to bear witness to the shredding madness of Zakk and his crew. The set was stellar and the fans went wild, begging for more. If one thing I wanted, was a longer set since I could have watched them all day long! Check out the photos by our Rockin Ryan of the set: If you weren’t able to make it to Aftershock, don’t worry, Black Label Society have been quite busy on some heavy duty touring and it will start again in October. Check the dates and make sure to not miss them if they are coming to a venue even remotely [Read More]

Emmure deliver a taste of what’s to come on their Eternal Enemies Tour at Aftershock Festival

September 20, 2014

Emmure was another one of those highlight bands at this year’s Aftershock. It was great to see a nice crowd for them and even more so to get amped up for their Eternal Enemies Tour. They definitely gave a taste of what is to come on their upcoming tour which is set to kick off on November  21st at The Palladium in Worcester, MA. The tour will feature headliners Emmure and will include The Acacia Strain, Stray From the Path, Fit For A King and Kublai Khan. I spoke to several concertgoers at Aftershock and so many said it was their first time seeing Emmure and they were very impressed and looking forward to the next show. They truly captured the energy of the crowd and fed off it. They were amazing and had everyone fired up. Check out the photos by our Rockin Ryan of their set: So get ready for the tour and make sure to check out the VIP Packages and tour dates here: http://soundrink.com/front/tour/emmure. Hellyeah played an incredible set at Aftershock

September 20, 2014

Hellyeah was one of the bands that we were really looking forward to performing at this year’s Monster Energy Aftershock Festival and they definitely didn’t disappoint. They brought a really nice heavy set to the crowd and it was incredible. They are just fierce on stage and a highlight was one they played their bad ass track, Sangre por Sangre (Blood for Blood). The crowd went wild. Check out photos by our Rockin Ryan of their set: The Aftershock show was a good way to send off Hellyeah as they embarked on a tour with Volbeat,  Five Finger Death Punch and Nothing More. They really set the bar high for the bands to follow and you can catch them while they are out on tour. Check the dates below and get yourself to a show: Sep 20   US Cellular Coliseum  w/ Nothing More  Cedar Rapids, IA Sep 21   DeltaPlex  w/ Nothing More  Grand Rapids, MI Sep 23   The Oncenter w/ Nothing More  Syracuse, NY Sep 25   Baltimore Arena w/ Nothing More Baltimore, MD Sep 26   Tsongas [Read More]

Eyes Set To Kill release lyric video for Little Liar and catch them out on tour!

September 19, 2014

Eyes Set To Kill have been busy with their non-stop touring. We caught their set at Aftershock and once again blew us away with their energy and killer music. The crowd went wild for them. Stay tuned as we will be bringing you full coverage of their set later this weekend. Meanwhile, they have just released a lyric video for their song, Little Liar . Check out the video here: Alexia had this to say about the song, “I started out writing this song about a woman named “Jodi Arias” who was on trial for brutally killing her boyfriend during the writing process of “Masks”. I found it fascinating that she kept denying and digging a hole deeper for herself by piling lies on top of lies. The whole world knew she was guilty but she still held on to her lies like she would eventually be set free. What I got from the whole story, was that the bigger the lie, the bigger the chances of getting caught. I think a lot of people, including me, have been [Read More]
