EMAROSA premiere a new music video for I’ll Just Wait

September 18, 2014

EMAROSA recently released their new album Versus through Rise Records. Vocalist Bradley Walden states: “This record is the pressure, frustration & perseverance of the past 3 years. This is the future of Emarosa.”  They have just premiered a new music video for their song I’ll Just Wait which is off the new album. You can check it out here: The music video was shot in Orlando, FL and directed by Caleb Mallery. On the video, vocalist Bradley Walden explains, “The song is about finding love, losing love and waiting until you can have it again. There’s just a sense of loss and reflection throughout the video. Walking in the halls and singing in the places there was to be a wedding. There are moments where he looks back and sees all the times he could have saved himself from heartache. The altar hosts the band performing, while the chorus calls out, “Are you happy? Are you happier?”   You can pick up your copy of the album by visiting: Physical: http://emarosa.merchnow.com iTunes: http://bit.ly/UO8qf6  EMAROSA will be heading out on tour [Read More]

MASSiVE release music video for Still Alive

September 18, 2014

New York based metalcore band, MASSiVE has released a music video for their song, Still Alive. The video was directed by Sam Link (Sleeping With Sirens, Bruised But Not Broken, and Crown The Empire) with the song being produced by Joey Sturgis (Of Mice & Men, Asking Alexandria, and We Came As Romans). Check out the video here: Now that you watched the video, you can head over and pick up the free download of the song below:   Everything came to us very naturally… I mean, we’ve been playing music together since we were little kids, so the whole writing process is a breeze. We all get along so well, it’s like the songs write themselves sometimes! As far as the music itself, we wanted to create something that sounded very powerful, hence the name MASSiVE. Something huge, but fast, thrashy, and energy-driven. I think the most important part of all of this is the message that we want to send to our listeners. We didn’t want to just sing about girls or being sad [Read More]

Watch Heaven’s Basement new music video for Lights Out in London

September 18, 2014

UK rockers, Heaven’s Basement have released their music video for their straight up Rock track, Lights Out In London.  The song is off their highly acclaimed Filthy Empire album which is out on Red Bull Records. The song is one of my favorites as it really highlights how these four talented musicians know how to kick ass and bring the life back in to Rock n Roll. They have had quite a year with extensive touring and we can’t wait for them to return to California. Check out their new video here: Their song Be Somebody was announced as the theme song for the 2014 Red Bull Air Race. Guitarist Sid Glover even took to the skies for a test flight with one of the pilots. It looks like a lot of fun. You can check out their song Be Somebody and even get a free download of it from Red Bull Records:   Make sure you have your copy of Filthy Empire, you can pick it up on Itunes,  Amazon, and their online store.    We have had the [Read More]

Quick peek at our Aftershock Festival 2014 coverage

September 18, 2014

Aftershock Festival 2014 was a great success. The show went off beautifully. Yes, the heat might have been unbearable and with the drought this year, we had to endure a lot more dust but the music kicked ass from start to finish. This is definitely California’s Number One Music Festival and we are already looking forward to next year. Bay Area band Dig The Kid kicked off the entire festival and Godsmack closed it out on Sunday night. Every single set was awesome and just proves to the naysayers that Rock n Roll is Alive and Well! So many great bands, interviews and photo galleries coming your way soon. I know many of you can’t wait so how about I give you a quick tease of several of the bands we covered. We are still working, so if you don’t see your favorite band, don’t worry, we may have them in the next batch! All photos are by our Rockin Ryan which you can follow on his Instagram/RockinRyanSixx as well as Twitter.com/rockinryan :     In case [Read More]

Interview with the multi-talented Dani Neff of Megafauna

September 18, 2014

Austin has been keeping quite a secret and it is time everyone gets to know about it. I am talking about the incredible prog-rock/alternative band Megafauna. I am not going to try and place them into a music genre category because their fresh new bold style of music fuses a variety of musical influences and have successfully created their own unique sound. You can pick up great tones of progressive rock, alternative grunge style, power pop and garage rock. They most recently released their album, Maximalist which is quite deserving of your attention. In addition they toured this past summer in support of their album and will continue to set out on another tour shortly. We had the opportunity to talk with Megafauna singer/guitarist, Dani Neff and she is such a wonderfully talented artist. We are pleased to bring you the interview here: * * * * * * Music Junkie Press: Thank you very much for taking the time out to talk with us here at Music Junkie Press. We have to tell you [Read More]

Interview with We Are Harlot at Aftershock Festival

September 17, 2014

We Are Harlot made their live debut this summer at Rock on the Range and followed up with another kick ass set at Rocklahoma. They then arrived in Las Vegas for an amazing night performing at the Hard Rock Hotel with The Pretty Reckless. We have been waiting our turn to check out We are Harlot live and this past weekend, our Harlot cherry was popped at the Aftershock Festival. Aftershock was filled with a variety of awesome bands and we can’t wait to bring you all of our coverage, but first let’s start with our top highlight, We Are Harlot. This is a band with years in the making and they have created such a buzz over the past year as everyone is anticipation of their debut album. Earlier this summer, they released their first single, DENIAL and the Harlot frenzy began. The downloads topped over 100,000 downloads in probably the first week, everyone was talking about, it hit the radio and you knew, that nothing could stop the We Are Harlot world domination of [Read More]
