Concert Review: Black Veil Brides Black Mass Tour 2014 – O2 Academy Brixton, London

October 11, 2014

Concert Review – Black Veil Brides – Black Mass Tour 2014 – O2 Academy Brixton, London, Oct. 4th 2014 Contributed by Alexandra –  Twitter; https://twitter.com/lexi22473_b  Arriving at the venue, there’s already a big crowd lining up around the block. The end of the line reached the start and they asked everyone to get closer together, so there’s enough place for everyone to queue. With opening the doors at 7 pm, the crowd was off and started moving. People with O2 phones got in first and the rest followed through quickly. Inside, Drama Club already started their set. The steady beat of their tunes got the crowd going. Part of their set was a remix of Andy Black’s (Andy Biersacks moniker), “They Don’t Need To Understand“. If they didn’t have everyone on their side, now they had. Even though they don’t play a classic rock sound they fit in pretty good. Next on were UK residents Fearless Vampire Killers. They were obviously known to many people. Singers/guitarists Kier Kemp and Laurenence Beveridge switch singers position after a [Read More]

Godsmack photos from Aftershock Festival 2014

October 11, 2014

One of our definite highlights from this year’s Aftershock Festival was the closing set by Godsmack. This was the first time I have been able to catch Godsmack live and they blew myself and the crowd away. It was filled from front to back and even people holed up in the trees, trying to get a better look at the great stage setup and intense energy that Godsmack delivered through their set. Check out the photos from our Rockin Ryan : Godsmack closed out the 2014 Aftershock Festival and the setlist for the night is as follows: 1000hp  Cryin’ Like a Bitch Locked and Loaded Keep Away Awake Speak Voodoo Batalla de los Tambores Whatever I Stand Alone If you don’t already have it, pick up their latest release, 1000 HP which definitely makes the statement; ROCK N ROLL IS NOT DEAD! I Can Make a Mess (Ace Enders) new LP Growing In captures the truth in music

October 11, 2014

I Can Make A Mess (Ace Enders) has released a surprise digital LP, Growing In through his Bandcamp page. This LP captures the raw emotion and highlights such an honesty in the music. The natural feel of the music is so refreshing and will take you on a musical journey. Ace explains, “I was feeling a little bit stuck creatively before doing the Aaron West & The Roaring Twenties record last year. During the process it sparked something in me and while I was finalizing mixes on the last day, I had about for minuets while a track would bounce out. I was feeling very inspired so I decided to try and write a song during each bounce and at the end of the day I had the beginnings of a record. I used the voice memos from my phone as my only outline. No metronome or edits. I just made songs, didn’t apply any rules and had fun with it.” Well whatever he did, was perfect and the raw process really carries a weight of [Read More]
