December In Red release music video for Send Me a Postcard

February 3, 2015

Seattle rockers December In Red have just released a cinematic video for their song, Send Me a Postcard. The song is the new single from their upcoming new album, The Way Out. The album is set for a March 10 release through CaviGold Records. Lead vocalist, Del McGeachy explains the inspiration behind the new track, “’Send Me a Postcard’ was inspired by the consequences of unsustainable situations. Be those personal situations or the state of the world itself. This concept emerges again in the album title itself, The Way Out, as we are all looking for a way out of the path we are on.” Check out the video here:   The much anticipated album was recorded in Seattle’s legendary Robert Lang Studios (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Alice in Chains), The Way Out was produced by the band itself with engineering by Eric Janko and mixing by Provo of Skinlab. We had the opportunity to talk with bassist, Colbey Schnelle at NAMM last month and we will be bringing you that interview in the coming days. December In Red [Read More]

The Church release video for new song Vanishing Man off new album

February 3, 2015

Today one of my favorite bands of my youth and then became the soundtrack of my life is The Church released  their 25th studio album. The album, Further/Deeper marks the 35th anniversary of the band. 35 years of great music amid lineup changes, music formats and so much more. “The magic started on day one,” says singer/bass player Steve Kilbey. “Someone strummed a chord or struck a drum or plucked a note and we were off. We wrote and recorded like demons and it was inspiring to feel every member using all his resources in the service of this record.” Check out the new video for their alluring and ethereal song, Vanishing Man The song features that signature sound of The Church that I have loved and missed so much. In addition to the release, The Church are setting out on a North American Tour in support of their new album. Check the tour dates below and I hope you get yourself to a show: The Church 2015 – North American Tour 2/21/2015                Vancouver, BC           [Read More]

Check out the touching new song, Wild Child from Wind In Sails

February 3, 2015

Wind in Sails is the solo project of Evan Pharmakis and will soon be releasing his sophomore album, Morning Light on February 24th through Headphone Music, an Equal Vision Records imprint.  He has just released a new song, Wild Child which is a beautiful touching track that Evan explains as a song he wrote for his fiance, “‘Wild Child’ is another song I wrote for my fiancé. It’s actually more or less the story of when I proposed to her. It touches on many things, like her childhood, a bit of my own insecurity thrown in. But ultimately it’s about my love for the only one I’ll ever need in my life.” The song is amazing and is filled with such emotion and an outpouring of love. Evan’s vocals are pure bliss and soul touching.  Check out the track here: The song as well as the first released single, Push and Shove can be purchased on iTunes as well as instant downloads after you pre-order the new album.
