The Cerny Brothers capture folk spirit in their new rock style

The Cerny Brothers have successfully created a new sound for their music which originally was acoustic, folk elements to a more electric rock style.  All the while, they have captured their folk spirit as it fits so well with their new music. Check out the video for their new song, Porch Lights: The song is off of their upcoming album, Sleeping Giant, which will be released worldwide on May 12th, 2015 via Krian Music Group. The album was recorded at legendary Bear Creek Studios in Seattle with producers Jerry Streeter and Ryan Hadlock, who are known for their work with Brandi Carlile and The Lumineers. Guitarist and video director, Scott Cerny explains about the song, “Porch Lights is about being young, desperate and hungry in a place that can’t contain your ambitions. We wanted to make a video that told a story of two lovers on the run in the biggest way we could. Ashes To Ashes Tour comes to an end in Sacramento with an epic set by Chelsea Grin

This past weekend the Chelsea Grin “Ashes To Ashes Tour” came to an end in Sacramento at the Ace of Spades. It was quite a night and the bands absolutely KICKED ASS from start to finish.  The fans came out early as the line soon wrapped around the block. We arrived just in time to catch one of our favorite new bands, The Family Ruin hit the stage. The big news keeps on coming for Hey Violet! They have just announced that they will be heading out on tour with 5SOS on their Rock Out With Your Socks Out. The Tour will be in Europe, Canada and US! Carnifex heavy it up with an intensely energetic set on the Ashes To Ashes Tour

We were glad to check out the final day of Chelsea Grin’s Ashes To Ashes Tour in Sacramento at the Ace of Spades this past weekend. The night included a variety of great bands and Carnifex was there to deliver a much needed heavy dose of modern death metal. It was great to see so many fans in the crowd sporting Carnifex merch and even more so to witness the intense magnitude of the circle pit and non stop crowd surfing. It was unbelievable to watch and you couldn’t help but get drawn in with their fierce vibe. You will also see that their sound appeals to generations as you will find old school metal heads headbanging to them right next to the up and coming generation. All fueled by their love of the brutal death metal music of Carnifex. Sworn In premiere new song song and set out on headlining tour!

Sworn In have been quite busy and are just about to release their new album, The Lovers/The Devil next week on April 7th. They are premiering a new song off the upcoming album. Check out their new track, Lay With Me: We were blown away last year when we first saw Sworn In perform at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento for the Monster Energy Outbreak Rock Tour. Last Saturday we were able to catch them once again as they returned to the Ace of Spades for Chelsea Grin’s Ashes To Ashes Tour. Unfortunately, Tyler was out ill and we hope he is fully recovered.
