Metro Station is on fire with their new 18 track mixtape release Savior

June 30, 2015

We had a blast interviewing and covering Metro Station as they are on the full run of Vans Warped Tour this summer. They have been nonstop since their reunion and finished up a very successful headlining tour before hitting Warped Tour. In addition, today they have released their 18 track mixtape Savior. 18 tracks to get you pumped and become the playlist for your summer fun. Each song can easily stand on it’s own as singles, infectiously catchy and quite addictive. Some of my favorites are… well, that could be hard to choose because seriously they are all great songs. Liquid Courage, Used by You, Burn With You, Better Than Me, and Runaway have been stand out tracks so far. We recently featured another great song on it, Getting Over You which features Ronnie Radke. If you are looking for a pick me up, or are in a funk and facing challenges, crank up some Metro Station as it will become an instant mood elevator! Head over to iTunes and pick up your copy. Concert Review: In Hearts Wake and Keep It For Tomorrow – Munich, Germany. By Alexandra Bock

June 29, 2015

Munich, Backstage Club, June 26th, 2015 By Alexandra Bock   So In Hearts Wake announced three headliner dates for Germany aside from their European tour with Counterparts. One of those dates was bringing the band to Munich. They had a five piece band from Leipzig, Germany, called Keep It For Tomorrow opening for them on those dates. Their music is best described as post-hardcore/metalcore. The band opened for other international acts like Being As An Ocean and Our Last Night. Their debut album ‘New Spirit’ was released in the fall of 2014. It includes a song called ‘Evolve’ with guest vocals by Jake Taylor of In Hearts Wake. But back to the show itself. They played an energetic set from start to end. You could see how they love what they are doing and the crowd responded in an equal way. Definitely a band you should check out. We’ll sure hear and see more of them in the future. Keep It For Tomorrow: It wasn’t the first time that In Hearts Wake played in Munich, [Read More]

Tarralyn Ramsay sings her soul out at the BET Experience: interview with Patrick O’Heffernan

June 29, 2015

Tarralyn Ramsay is here in Los Angeles this week for the BET Experience and the BET Awards, being held at the LA Live center in downtown Los Angeles.  She will joining stars like Niki Minaj, Tamar Braxton, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo and many others in a national Celebration of black music and stars.  But the road to BET was not easy for Tarralyn,. Despite early success with her gospel and R&B albums, she learned that her tremendous voice – one of the best in music today – is not always enough to spell success.  It took years of hard work and a strong faith tempered with an understanding of the music business to put her on the stage in Los Angeles this Sunday. When you meet her, as I did yesterday, what comes across is not her Undeniable talent, or her striking beauty, but a friendly, accessible, positive person – an woman surrounded by an aura of warmth and welcoming, a genuine person.  What you see is what you get, and what you get [Read More]
