Erika Lloyd releases lyric video for her nostalgic dreamy vibe track, Turn Around

Indie Pop artist Erika Lloyd out of Brooklyn, New York has released a lyric video for her song, Turn Around. The song brings out a stellar nostalgic and dreamy vibe, all the while highlighting the emotionally driven vocals of Erika. You can feel the vulnerability and it captures a depth of raw emotion. It is a great track to check out: Turn Around is the second single off her upcoming solo debut LP, Power which is set for a September 18th. Erika comments on the song, “on the surface it sounds like a simple song about having a crush and experiencing unrequited love, but it is also about getting the public to pay attention to my music. Yellowcard’s Ryan Key launches Kickstarter for The Lone Tree Recordings

Yellowcard frontman, Ryan Key is already at the halfway mark of his recently launched Kickstarter campaign for The Lone Tree Recordings, a studio that he hopes will be the platform for the next step in his music career, as well as a place for other artists to start theirs. Key’s beginnings in the music production business started with a simple email to the Yellowcard website in 2011. The email was from the band manager of Like Torches, an alternative rock band based in Sweden, looking to produce a new record and go on tour. Key and Yellowcard guitarist, Ryan Mendez, teamed up to produce the band’s first record and that project ignited Key’s passion for producing. In early 2015, Key recorded and produced the second Like Torches album on his own in Stockholm, Sweden. “Working with Ryan on our last two records has really helped us reach a new level,” said Jonathan Kärn of Like Torches. “We feel like we’ve created a great sound that we are proud of and Ryan definitely helped us find it.” [Read More]

Precious Child bring the spotlight on the darkness with their new video for I Fall

Dark rockers Precious Child from Baltimore have just released a new video for their song, I Fall. The song is off their debut album, Bloody Knees which was recorded and mixed in Los Angeles, CA by Ulrich Wild, the multiplatinum producer/mixer known for his work with Otep,White Zombie, Deftones, Dethklok… The video brings the spotlight on to the darkness that some experience and is a very intense and powerful video. Singer/songwriter Precious comments about the video: “This is one of the most intense things I’ve ever done. I had no idea that a video shoot would be so involved. When we were initially discussing it, I was pretty unsure about how well the video would turn out. Despite this being his first video project, Precious proved that he has a clear and strong vision and it was wonderful to see our initial storyboard come to life.
