Bandits announce upcoming release of KILL Tonight 7″ Vinyl in March

December 10, 2015

The explosive heavy rock trio Bandits have announced that they will be releasing Kill Tonight 7″ Vinyl in March.  You know that we love our vinyl and can’t wait to hear their fierce music on it. This highly anticipated release was mastered by Brian Gardner, the Grammy award-winning engineer who has worked with iconic artists such as Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age, and Them Crooked Vultures. BANDITS are a red-hot bowling ball, shot out of a homemade cannon into the side panel of mid 80’s Ford Bronco. Led by the unmatched chemistry of brother/sister John Demitro (guitar/vox) and LuLu Demitro (bass/keys/vox), and driven by the eruptive drumming of Andrew Oakley (drums), BANDITS have managed to enter a higher society of artistry by discharging a brand unlike any others in the provincial industry. BANDITS find themselves drawing in dazed listeners to a focal point of sound, just before pushing back with enough power and energy to knock the asbestos out of the ceiling of your towns grimy rock club.  With excitement towards the upcoming [Read More]

Interview with blues rockers Kingsborough as they gear up for another great year

December 9, 2015

The end of the year tends to be a time for bands to wind down but that is not the case for blues rockers Kingsborough from Santa Rosa. They have continued to keep the rock torch alive with great shows around the Bay Area.  This is one band that we have been following for a couple years now and they truly give 150% every time they perform. As I have mentioned before, their music is a very welcoming fusion of soulful blues and classic rock but with a much more modernized face lift! They literally bring an intensity to their music, soulful vocals that just grab a hold of you, catchy choruses, spectacular guitar solos, striking rhythms and big harmonies that need their own zip code. This is one band that you can only be described as “ROCK AND ROLL AT ITS FINEST”.     We had the chance to chat with them last Friday as they were about to perform at 755 After Dark in Sebastopol. Check out our interview with them: They have another show [Read More]
