Concert Review By Alex Bock of Say We Can Fly with The Living in Munich

February 23, 2016

Say We Can Fly with The Living in Munich, Orangehouse, February  21st, 2016   Braden Barrie, probably better known as Say We Can Fly, visited our beautiful city yesterday to play a gig at the Orangehouse. It’s a small venue, with an even smaller stage. But that makes shows all the more cozy. Contrary to the concerts I usually attend, it was a really quiet kind of night. Due to the band arriving a bit late, doors opened only about 10 minutes before the announced show time. In the end the show started at about 20.30 (8.30 pm), half an hour later than scheduled. Braden had a local band opening up for him. They’re called The Living. They play a bluesy-poppy tune. It’s easy listening music. They’ll soon go out on a little tour of their own promoting the release of their upcoming EP ‘Open Stories’. Braden Barrie, a Canada resident, played last year’s Vans Warped tour in the US and finally he made it over the great pond and to tour European soil. The [Read More]

Red Sun Rising serves up a hefty dose of rock with their new video for Emotionless

February 19, 2016

Red Sun Rising out of Akron, Ohio have been capturing everyone’s attention with their infectious straight up rock that brings hints of classic, grunge and timeless rock and roll! They are back at it with a new video for their song, Emotionless. Guitarist Mike Protich comments about Emotionless: “Emotionless is unique because it came to me in a dream. The visual was vivid and haunting enough that describing it yielded song lyrics. It’s sometimes hard to understand something from the subconscious so our only hope was to create a song. With the help of Director Dylan Marko Bell, we finally brought everything to life… or lack thereof.” Check out the new video here:   They were one of our highlights at last year’s Aftershock Festival as they really brought the energy to the stage. The crowd was rockin out and loving every minute of it. We had a chance to chat with a couple of the guys after their set and if you missed it, you can check that out here: If you don’t already [Read More]
