YOTAM comments, “My friend Kevin who is doing a book in tribute for Tony Sly mentioned that a friend of his Steven Guerrero would be interested in possibly doing a video for my song “Tony Sly” off of California Sounds (Hardline Entertainment). I put him in touch with label owner Ken Seaton and they both set up a 7 am shooting at 3rd Street Tattoo in Hermosa Beach which Fletcher from Pennywise is a part owner of. Luckily I was just done with a 2 month tour and in the area. I didn’t sleep much the night before. We ended up shooting a few takes and that was it. The setting, the hour and Steve’s camera action made everything seem right.I learned alot from Tony Sly over the years when my band Useless ID toured with No Use [Read More]

Blacklist Union release new video for Evil Eye

March 21, 2016

Hard rockers Blacklist Union have just released a new music video for their song, Evil Eye. The song is off their latest album, Back To Momo which is available on iTunes here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/back-to-momo/id1019831872. Tony West comments on the song, This song is about the abuse I suffered from my mother as a kid and throughout my life and how I let it destroy me for many years. I just had to let it go and realize she is a sick woman who didn’t and still doesn’t know any better. The video was extremely emotional for me. The part when my son acted as me when I was nine suffering abuse was so real and so life-like I actually cried a few times. Matt Zane [director] really brought it to life and I absolutely love the guy and love working with him. – It is an amazing video that just bleeds out the honest emotion of suffering. It is also one incredible track. Check out the video here: Make sure to visit their social media sites and [Read More]

Alien Ken, new album “Change is Constant” is a must have for rockers!

March 21, 2016

Alien Ken is back at it with a new album, Change is Constant which is the follow up to his debut Contact which was released in 2014.  The new album is a full on straight up bad ass ROCK ALBUM! There is no smoke and mirrors, gimmicks or bandwagon songs, this is one complete album that will ROCK YOU. The mysterious and eccentric Alien Ken from Zeta Reticculi/Norway first captured our attention with his debut album and now has us completely hooked with his new songs. The album kicks right off with Dualstar that draws you in with the powerful gritty vocals and fierce guitars. Check out the video for the track which was recorded in Frog Leap Studios by Arvid Tjelta:   Concrete Plastic starts off with a punk angsty intro and then catapults into commanding vocals, chunky guitars and fist in the air rock. Veni Vidi Vici is one of my personal faves and has a sweet blues feel dipped into smoking guitars and high energy. Third has a theatrical dark feel and really [Read More]
